“Mocno zabagnionym punktem okazała się Łęczna. Majowe rozbrojenie posterunku MO przez „Jastrzębia” – bez silniejszej presji tam, gdzie należało – rozdrażniło tylko łęczyńskich „działaczy”. Posterunek wzmocniono, a cywilni i półcywilni pionierzy czerwonej demokracji wzmogli swoją działalność. Wspólnie z oddziałem „Jastrzębia” i „Ordona” dokonaliśmy w Łęcznej dwóch akcji oczyszczających, jedną 22 października, a drugą 31 listopada 1946 r. W ich wyniku rozbrojono posterunek MO i zlikwidowano jedenaście osób za szpiclowanie i inne wybitnie szkodliwe wystąpienia.”

Żołnierzy wyklętych w latach 1944-1951 przewinęło się ponad 200 tysięcy ludzi, kilkadziesiąt tysięcy z nich zostało zabitych, drugie tyle wtrąconych do więzień lub wywiezionych na Syberię. Ich walka świadczyła o wielkości ducha polskiego żołnierza.
